I just came back from Singapore yesterday. I went there with my husband for vacation (as i mentioned in my previous post that we'll go on another trip this year, yeah, this was the beginning). Singapore has always been amazing, no exception for this trip. Last time i went there on May 2009 last year, and they haven't build anything near to the giant Merlion in Sentosa Island, guess what i saw there just yesterday (11 months from my last trip to Singapore) There was an amazing Universal Studio! Dunno when they started to built it, but they really fast as flash! Not only fast, they really planned this to the details, for example when you enter the area of The Lost World, you will find the walls surrounding the area was mixed with some mosquitos who was trapped in dinosaurus oil (remember Jurasic Park movie and how they get the DNA of dinasour from some mosquitos, that's all i mean!) so, it was like fossil wall! Oh yes, the studio was also completed with all the facility (not only the game-facility, they also ready with the restaurants, gift shops, clean toilets, they even have some electronics locker with our password!), they also build new road from Vivo city to get there directly to the entrance of gigantic casino (Universal studio located above the casino), and they build those stuff only on 11 months!! ironic uh? In Jakarta, we've been waiting for years for the monorail, and the worst part: until several years of waiting, the monorail still doesn't exist!! Do they actually build it? who should i ask?
I also went to Singapore flyer and shops at my favorit places! Will let you know later ok, got to work now..

Welcome Aisha!
Now i realize how 'old' i am. Another niece came to this world, last evening (the nurses said it was 6:30 pm something). In the next one to two years she will be running here and there calling me aunty (or 'bibi'? how about 'tante' yuuu... mari..), and i will look verrrrryyyy oollllddd!!
The fact that, I was overwhelmed!! Especially when i saw this little princess looks a lot like me! (Don't ask me: how come?) I'm telling you that she looks like me because of her exiguous similiarity to her parents! (especially the lips, and eyebrow, they're totally mine hehehe..)
Aisha is her name by the way, can't remember the complete name but i think Aisha is a cute one. There has been a local syndrome in Indonesia to name their baby based on what sinetron (tv serial) is booming at the time. (You named it: baby-Keysia, baby-Fitri, baby-Cinta, and the latest one: baby-Safa & Marwah) And i'm glad my sister doesn't follow the fashion.
I'm glad that my sister was giving birth without any surgery, it was a normal delivery. She said it was hurt, some pain you just can't imagine or ever feel. That's gross.. I better not to listen when she keep talking about the process, it scared me a lot.
Worst part: I was tooo excited and forgot to take pictures :(
Well, all i can say is congratulation, i wish all the best for Aisha and parents :)

you should buy the dvd!
I finally seen this movie: Three Idiots, it's unlike the others India-Movie with their trade mark story of poor guy falls in love with a rich dugther of a landlord named Mr.Takhur or Mr.Singh or whatever.. I bet you can tellyourself what's gonna happen next in that 'common' India-Movie. I've seen some extraordinary India-movies lately.. uh...um.. I saw this 'Slumdog Millionaire' you really should see it yourself, those India is definitely can make good, uhm no, great movie with great story!
Back to the 'Three Idiots'
I thought it was a comedy! I was wrong. It was a-huge-comedy! Idiots can make us laugh and cry, think and get inspired, funny and unconditionally romantic in one time. The story was simply about students in India and how they live their life. Well i'm not gonna teach you how to live your life just because i just watched this Idiots hahaha.. Personally i think this is a very good movie and a-must-see movie of the year. I bet you'll find them great too.

Again!! birthday!!
It was a great day to start the first day of April. Some people say it's April Mop, but to me it's another birthday! Well, this time was Ria's birthday! She invited us (again, girls from my previous office ahaha, we should have a name or somethin..) to have a birthday lunch. This time at Fonzu, a Japanese Restaurant (Hurrray!!!!) located at the Ground floor of Wisma BNI 46. It was great, the food were excellent, sorry, my pocket cam was running out the battery, so i didn't have so much celebration pics, except this one from Anggri's cellphone
Thank's Ria for the lunch!
I hope all of your dreams come true, and wish you all the best!
Look at to this birthday cheesecake! I feel delicious already.. hahaha!!

food theme: Chinese!
My father in law was taking me to a Chinese restaurant called Ming in Setiabudi One Building. The food was SUPERB! I remember we ordered Peking Duck, Dumio Garlic, Steamed Fish, Kungpaw Chicken, Fried Rice, and i forgot what else.. (we eat a lot like there's no tomorrow ahahaha..)
Later days, returing from his fishing hobby on the weekend, my father came to my house and gave me one big Patin fish (Sorry i don't know what is Patin fish in English...). The fish has a thick-white-meat texture, and i was wondering what kind of dishes i could make from this.. My mind was turned back to the steamed fish i had on the dinner at Ming. So i tried to recall what would be the ingredients the Chef added to make that one.
I was added soy sauce, salted-soy sauce, oyster sauce, onion leaves, minced garlic, and ginger. First of all, you have to make few cuts/slices on the fish body, and then fill the slices with ginger and garlic. Put the fish in the Pyrex plate and then puth them inside the steamer. I forgot how long, maybe it takes less than 10 minute to steam the fish. Voila! Here it is - the picture of my steamed fish
Yeah i know, where is the fish-head? I cut it off (Ouch!!).
My husband hates fish-head, he says it makes him lost his appetite. (Fish head sometime scary..)
I also make this Chinese fried rice a la Andina hehehe..
