I was actually browsing for some short trip. Just wondering to bring my baby (after the delivery, of course) later on his first trip (his? my doctor said it's a boy until my last USG). I remembered my boss from my last office, Irek, he and his family are cute travelers. So i checked on his site and find some wonderful destination to be my consideration. his website is www.zyzanski.com or you can find more trips at his another site which he also provided the address on this site.

Oh yep, i'm still on my 6th months, the nausea -thank God- has gone away, and i was thinking to start a trip, actually maybe a very short visit to Singapore. Not actually a short vacation, a friend of mine is getting married there, and she was (also) in the same boarding house with mine when we were at university. She did come to my wedding, so i thought that i have to give her a favor, a short fun visit to fulfill her invitation. Well, let's see what my doctor would says about my plan.

escaping jakarta again!!

I just came back from Singapore yesterday. I went there with my husband for vacation (as i mentioned in my previous post that we'll go on another trip this year, yeah, this was the beginning). Singapore has always been amazing, no exception for this trip. Last time i went there on May 2009 last year, and they haven't build anything near to the giant Merlion in Sentosa Island, guess what i saw there just yesterday (11 months from my last trip to Singapore) There was an amazing Universal Studio! Dunno when they started to built it, but they really fast as flash! Not only fast, they really planned this to the details, for example when you enter the area of The Lost World, you will find the walls surrounding the area was mixed with some mosquitos who was trapped in dinosaurus oil (remember Jurasic Park movie and how they get the DNA of dinasour from some mosquitos, that's all i mean!) so, it was like fossil wall! Oh yes, the studio was also completed with all the facility (not only the game-facility, they also ready with the restaurants, gift shops, clean toilets, they even have some electronics locker with our password!), they also build new road from Vivo city to get there directly to the entrance of gigantic casino (Universal studio located above the casino), and they build those stuff only on 11 months!! ironic uh? In Jakarta, we've been waiting for years for the monorail, and the worst part: until several years of waiting, the monorail still doesn't exist!! Do they actually build it? who should i ask?

I also went to Singapore flyer and shops at my favorit places! Will let you know later ok, got to work now..

Hunnymoon

Fulfilling some friend's request, i finally can't keep this fotos my self.
BUT. I can't upload too much foto from my honeymoon, it's just too personal and a bit inappropriate for a reading hahaha :p
Well, some pictures from the Singapore and the rest were from Bali. Good places to go when you don't have too much time for your wedding-ceremony escape hahaha!
(P.S. At the time, we only have one week to enjoy the honeymoon-days..)

If you wish to go to Singapore, i highly recommend you to choose some hotels at Orchard or near to Orchard, let's say, maybe at Newton, Scotts, Novena or somewhere nearby.. But please prepare for a higher budget for stay, since it will be a bit pricey.. There is no such a thing like cheap-clean-near to town-hotel around Orchard. Well, at the time, we choose Sheraton. It's just great, we only have to walk like 5 minutes to Orchard, 5 minutes to the MRT, and can go anywhere easily from there. The food also great, love Sheraton's buffet so much, their dishes were just excellent! Can't complain anything regarding my stay at Sheraton. Well, saver tips: of course it doesnt always have to be 5 stars, you can always pick-up the lower price if you choose some hotels around Geylang area.



If you love photography, you should visit Santosa, the landscape and Siloso beach are just not to be passed. If you love shopping, well, you can just walk around malls on Orchard (my pick is Tang Plaza and DFS - of course), or Vivo, or budgeted stuff at Mustafa.

If you decided that Bali will be your next stop for your travel experience, you dont have to be worry about where to stay. Both High-end and budgeted hotels are available in every corner. The problem when you go to bali is only one: local transport. I suggest you to rent a motorbike or a city car if you wish to go to another site in Bali (Usually, tourist focused at Kuta, but actually you can go to Nusa Dua, Ubud, or Jimbaran by driving a car).

My last travel advice is, where ever you go, you should go with someone you love. It's just gonna be more and more exciting!
